ESPANA -- Celia M. Espana, 94, a resident of Albuquerque, NM since 1946, went to be with our Heavenly Father on October 7, 2010. Mrs. Espana was born on March 12, 1916 to Edwardo A. and Rosa (Tellez) Mendoza of El Paso, TX. Upon high school graduation, Celia married Henry Espana of Leon, Guanajuato, Mexico in Williams, AZ and became a housewife and a stay at home mom. She, Henry and son Ernest moved to Albuquerque in December 1946 where Henry worked as a machinist. In 1957 Henry opened his own machine shop (Rio Grande Machine Shop) and Celia became his bookkeeper, until he retired in 1995. Celia is survived by her son, Ernest Espana and wife Marcella; grandson, Ernest Espana, Jr. and wife Beverly; granddaughter, Christine Espana Hernandez and husband Adrian; and three great-grandsons, Joshua and Jacob Espana and Dominic Hernandez.
