WELLER -- Louis L. Weller, 74, a lifelong resident of New Mexico, passed away on Saturday, October 2, 2010. Louis loved playing golf, skiing, hiking, hunting, fishing, a big UNM sports fan and roller coaster enthusiast. He was collector of Indian Artifacts and an avid world traveler. His grand-daughters thought of him as their hero. He is survived by his wife of 53 years Mildred Weller; children Sondra Weller-Bass and husband, Allan R. Bass, Randy Weller and wife, Virginia Newman-Weller; grandchildren Jade and Jenna Bass, Felicia and Leslie Weller; and one great-grandson en route Dalton Louis Bass-Lundy; mother Mayme I. Weller; sister Faye Ward and husband, Larry Jaramillo; and brother Joe Weller and wife, Martha Weller. Mr. Weller was preceded in death by his daughter, Dawna L Weller. Louis was a prominent architect and businessman. Funeral service will be held on Wednesday, October 6, 2010, 10:00 a.m., at Del Norte Baptist Church, 5800 Montgomery Blvd. NE, Albuquerque, NM.
