WARD -- Mary Woodworth Ward, 97, resident of Albuquerque for more than 50 years, died on Wednesday, August 25, 2010. She was born on December 21, 1912 in Carlisle, Pennsylvania. Mary was preceded in death by her husband, Donald H. Woodworth in 1963 and John A. Ward in 1998. She is survived by her son, L.A. "Woody" Woodworth; step-children, John R. Ward, and Nancy Ward Greenberg and husband, Paul; grandchildren, Lyle Greenberg and wife, Roberta, their daughters, Jennifer and Rachel, all of Albuquerque, as well as David Greenberg and his children, Jeffrey, Arianna, and Grace of Oak Ridge, Tennessee; nephew, Jim Wright of Maryland; and niece, Nancy Lerch and husband, Glenn of Pennsylvania. Mary was a member of Sandia Baptist Church. She was extremely active in Sunday School, Prime Timers and WINGS programs and a life member of the Auxiliary of Gideons International. Private interment of cremated remains will be at Sunset Memorial Park. A Celebration of Life service will be held Friday, September 10, 2010, 10:00 a.m., at Sandia Baptist Church, 9429 Constitution NE.
