BOCK -- John W. Bock, 86, a resident of Midvalley Airpark, Los Lunas, NM, for 30 years, passed away peacefully Monday, September 6, 2010. John was an artist, active in the Belen Art League, an aircraft and glider pilot, and an aircraft designer/builder. John was a WWII Army veteran serving honorably in the European theater with the 82nd Airborne. John was preceded in death by his sister, Frances; and his parents, John and Marie Bock. John was single and is survived by his cousin, Nancy Clauser and husband, Jerry of Mt. Prospect, Illinois. A viewing will be held at the Romero Funeral Home Chapel, 609 N. Main St, in Belen, NM from 4:00 to 6:00 p.m. on Friday, September 10, 2010. A graveside service will be held at Terrace Grove Cemetery, 1200 W.
