PRESTWOOD -- Cody W. Prestwood, age 78, of Los Lunas passed away on Sunday, August 29, 2010. Cody is survived by his son Niko; and brother Howard. He retired from the Valencia County Sheriff's Department after 45 years of service. Cody loved the work he did and the community he served. He always had a place in his heart for the children in the community, he helped develop both the Toys for Tots and the little league field in Los Lunas. He was a proud marine who served during the Korean War. Cody loved his parents, Hubbard and Constancia, the way they loved each other and loved him. He will be dearly missed. Friends may visit on Friday, September 3, 2010 at French ~ Wyoming Chapel from 5:00 - 7:00 p.m. Services will be held on Saturday, September 4, 2010 at 10:00 a.m. French ~ Wyoming Chapel with cremation to follow.
