GONZALES -- Janice P. Gonzales, 54, went with the Lord on Wednesday, June 2, 2010. She was a longtime resident of Albuquerque, NM born in Gallup, NM on April 29, 1956. She was an avid gardener with an amazing green thumb. She loved spending time with her family. Janice always went out of her way to help someone in need. She will be greatly missed by all who loved and knew her. She is survived by her two daughters, Clara Gonzales and Jessie Montoya and J.C. Valles two grandchildren, Elijah "Pinon" Valles and Alanah "lanita" Valles. She is also survived by her spouse of 21 years, Frank Armijo; and her brother, Eugene Montoya; as well as numerous nieces, nephews and cousins. She is preceded in death by her parents, Clarence and Josephita Montoya; and older brother, Jim Montoya; and niece, Annie Montoya. Funeral service will be held at Holy Rosary Catholic Church, 5415 Fortuna Rd. NW. Rosary will be Tuesday, June 8, 2010 at 7:00 p.m. Mass will be Wednesday, June 9, 2010 at 9:00 a.m. with Interment to follow at Mt. Calvary Cemetery, 1900 Edith NE. Pallbearers will be J.C. Valles, Jared Gutierrez, Joey Montoya, Edward Montoya, Urban Trujillo and Levy Lopez.
