RUBIN -- David Rubin, 74, passed away on May 27, 2010 after a brief battle with cancer. He was born on June 11, 1935 in St. Louis, Missouri to Barbara and Oscar Rubin. David was a 1957 graduate of Arizona State University, earning a degree in Geology. Upon graduation, David Entered active duty with the Unites States Army, retiring after 20 years with the rank of Lieutenant Colonel. He was a Vietnam Veteran. David and his family were stationed at Kirtland Air Force Base from 1970 to 1972, and following retirement, moved permanently to Albuquerque in 1977. David was a beloved family man and is survived by his wife Patricia of Albuquerque; son James of Los Alamos; brother Mike; and mother Barbara, both of Kingman, Arizona. He was preceded in death by a son, Richard. In lieu of any gifts, the family requests donations be made to the American Cancer Society.
