HINKLE -- Kenneth Hinkle age 94 went home today on May 24, 2010 in Albuquerque, NM. He was born to James and Annie Hinkle in Telephone, TX. Kenneth was a loving husband, father grandfather, great-grandfather and great-great-grandfather who loved his children and all of his grandchildren. He enjoyed football, but loved baseball even more. During his younger years, Kenneth even played on the Lone Star Baseball League. His favorite past-times were bridge, 42, spades and dominoes. Kenneth married the love of his life, Thelma. After 53 years of marital bliss they are now together again. Kenneth is survived by his daughters, Barbara Alexander of Miami, TX and Lucy Custard and husband, Buzz, of Elephant Butte, NM; five surviving grandchildren; 12 great-grandchildren; and one great-great-grandchild. Kenneth was preceded in death by his loving wife Thelma; one grand-daughter, Kellye; and one son-in-law, George. A funeral service will be held on June 1, 2010 at 10:00 a.m. at Netherwood Park Church of Christ, 5101 Indian School Rd. NE, with Minister Walter Lane as the officiant. Burial will follow at Sunset Memorial Park.
