GONZALES -- Isabel "Chela" Gonzales, 74, loving mother, nana, sister, nina, aunt, friend, and long time resident of Albuquerque, passed away on Sunday, May 23, 2010 with her family by her side. She is survived by her children, Rosie, Jeannette, and Lonnie; grandchildren, Andrew, Gabriel, and Leo; brothers, Henry Bustamante and wife Ella, Alex Bustamante and wife Josephine, and Manuel Bustamante and wife Norma; dear friend and caretaker, Esther Martinez, and many extended family members. Chela was preceded in death by her husband, Leonardo "Nayo" Gonzales in 1984; three brothers; and two sisters; and her parents Casimiro and Julia Bustamante. Friends may visit French Mortuary, Lomas location, from 5:30 p.m. to 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday, May 25, 2010 with a prayer service starting at 6:30 p.m. and rosary starting at 7:00 p.m. Final viewing will start at 8:00 a.m. on Wednesday, May 26, 2010 at Holy Family Catholic Church 562 Atrisco Dr SW, 87105 followed by a rosary at 8:30 a.m. Funeral Mass will begin at 9:00 a.m. Burial will take place at Mount Calvary Catholic Cemetery.
