GARCIA -- Jennie A. Garcia, 89, passed peacefully knowing she was loved by her family and friends on Thursday, May 20, 2010. Our very loved mother and grandmother lived a happy and full life and never lost her sense of humor. She was a faithful member of the Catholic Community and over the years was a member of St. Anne's and Queen of Heaven. Jennie is preceded in death by her parents Patrico and Manuelita Abeyta, her son, Steven Garcia; brother, Joe Abeyta; and sisters, Molly Saavedra, Alice Hosek and Emma Sanchez. She is survived by her daugther, Victoria Candelaria; sons, David Garcia and wife, Judy, and Phillip Garcia; brother, Eloy Abeyta; sisters, Patsy Lopez and Flora Garcia; her grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and great-great-grandchildren; many nieces and nephews; and her dear friends. A Rosary for Jennie will be recited on Monday evening, May 24, 2010 at 7:00 p.m. at Salazar & Sons Mortuary. Funeral Services will be held on Tuesday, May 25, 2010 at Queen of Heaven Catholic Church where the Mass will be celebrated at 10:30 a.m. Burial will follow at Mt. Calvary Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Johnathan Candelaria, Michael Candelaria, Robert Eldredge, Toby Fuentes, Greg Grundhoffer, and Van Eldredge. Honorary pallbearers will be Charlie Garcia, Art Hosek, Eloy Abeyta, Lionel Candelaria, Jeffrey Candelaria, Gilbert Lopez and Ross Baca.
