SANTILLANES -- Tony A. Santillanes was born September 20, 1936 in Albuquerque, New Mexico. He passed away Sunday, May 2, 2010 at his residence, at the age of 73. Tony will be remembered as a wonderful father, brother, grandfather and friend. In 1960, he was a State High School Baseball Champion, playing for Albuquerque High School. Tony was also a New Mexico State Handball Champion. He was loved very much and will be greatly missed by everyone. He is survived by his loving children: sons, Anthony and wife Sarah, Raymond and wife Eileen, Vincent, Antonio and wife Crystal; daughters, Linda, Nellie and Nettie; brothers, Robert and wife Coreen Santillanes, Frankie Santillanes and David C'De Baca; sisters, Carmen Trujeque and family, Rosie Coy and husband Bonnie; two Godchildren, Bernice Trujeque and Thomas Ramirez; nine grandchildren; five great grandchildren; other family members and friends. A Memorial Mass will be celebrated at St. Therese Catholic Church, 4th and Mildred SW, on Wednesday, May 5, 2010 at 12:30 p.m. Burial will follow at Mt. Calvary Cemetery.
