HYMER -- Mildred Marie Hymer (Millie) passed away April 22, 2010 in Albuquerque, NM. She was a long time resident of Alamogordo, NM moving to Albuquerque in 2003. She was born March 18, 1924 in Dover, NJ to Joseph and Carrie Shamanek. She is survived by her daughter Mary Strong and husband Scott of Albuquerque; son John Hymer and wife Tracey of Alamogordo; and grandchildren Rick Strong of Tempe, AZ, Laura Strong of Houston, TX and Aaron and Brittany Hymer of Alamogordo. She was preceded in death by her husband Glen; and son Jim. After moving to Albuquerque, she became a devoted Lobo fan and especially enjoyed following the basketball team. The family would like to thank the wonderful staff and caregivers at Brookdale Assisted Living and Ambercare Hospice.
