CORDOVA -- Virginia Cordova, our beloved mom, sister and grandma, went home with our Heavenly Father, Wednesday, April 21, 2010. She was a life time resident of Llanito, NM born on May 5, 1925. She was preceded in death by her husband Joe M. Cordova; parents Transito and Perfetita Mirabal; her daughter and son-in-law, Barbara and Amado Trujillo; and granddaughter, Emily Vasquez; sisters, Romie Marquez and Lucy Valencia; brothers, Sonnie Mirabal, Jerry and Peter Martinez and Conrad Maestas. Virginia is survived by her loving son, Randolph Mirabal and wife Marie Elena, her loving daughter who took care of her for many years, Yvonne (Bonnie) Garcia and husband Alex; 15 grandchildren; 30 great-grandchildren; and three great-great-grandchildren; her loving sisters and brother, Ruth and Charlie Goitia, Patty and Richard Espinosa, Jeanette and Jimmy Lopez, Tillie and Rudy Tenorio, Helen Miller, Angelina Swerkoske, Rey and Sandy Mirabal, Tony and Tillie Cordova, Sammy and Irene Cordova, Brabara Cordova, Norma Martinez; several nieces, nephews, cousins and friends that will miss her greatly. Per Virginia's wishes, there will be no services. A cremation has taken place; and Interment will be on her birthday, May 5, 2010 at 11:00 a.m. at Santa Fe National Cemetery. We would like to thank Barbara and Fabian from Presbyterian-Kaseman Hospice.
