MARTIN -- Nicholas Ewing "Nick" Martin, 16, died unexpectedly April 15, 2010. He is survived by his parents, Bob and Judith; his sister Kathleen; uncle Bill Martin and wife Juanita; his aunt Beth Martin; and numerous other family and friends. Nick was preceded in death by his sister Sara; grandparents, Lee M and Lyle E Ewing, Mary G Martin and Warren R Martin. He was a sophomore at East Mountain High School were he was was a member of the track and cross country teams, he enjoyed the outdoors and was a Boy Scout. Nick was very involved in Soap Box Derby, qualifying for five Nationals in Akron, Ohio. He also was active in science fairs for many years qualifying for regional and state competitions. Nick especially loved his family and friends and will be dearly missed.
