SANDOVAL -- Maida Sandoval, 80, a resident of Albuquerque passed away at home on March 27, 2010. Mrs. Sandoval is survived by her beloved husband of 57 years Mr. Eloy Sandoval; her daughter, Marie Sandoval; her son, Chuck Sandoval; her grandson, Gabriel Costales; three sisters, Agnes Martinez with Carmen Rodriguez, Cecilia Strader, Georgianna Wheeler and husband, Don; brother, Jose Velasquez and wife, Jan; a special niece, Evelyn Garcia; and many other nieces and nephews. Visitation will be Monday, March 29, from 6:30 p.m. until 7:00 p.m., St. Therese of the Little Flower Catholic Church, 300 Mildred at 4th Street, with a Rosary to be recited at 7:00 p.m. Final visitation will be Tuesday, March 30, from 9:30 a.m. until 10:00 a.m., at the Church, with Mass of Christian Burial to be celebrated at 10:00 a.m., Bishop Arthur Tafoya, presider. Interment will follow at Mount Calvary Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Chuck Sandoval, Jeff Velasquez, Don Wheeler, Eddie Strader Jr., Marty Padilla and Fred Tuepell.
