WALKER -- Roxie Ann Walker, 90, passed away March 12, 2010 in Truth or Consequences, NM. Roxie was born August 20, 1919 in Belton, TX to Martha Ann Casey and William Elmer Willis. Roxie is survived by her husband of 22 years, William Paul Walker, of 844 Horseshoe Trail, SE, Albuquerque, NM; a son, Alvin J. Campbell, Jr. and wife, Gretchen, of Truth or Consequences, New Mexico; four grandchildren; six great-grandchildren; numerous step-children, step-grandchildren and step-great-grandchildren; onebrother, Elmer Willis; and one sister, Mae Ascue. Roxie was active in the Eastern Star as a member of the Adah 5 Chapter of Eastern Star until her health prevented her attending meetings. She enjoyed fishing the lakes and rivers of northern New Mexico. She and husband, William Walker, were also active in many Masonic activities throughout New Mexico. A Memorial Service for Roxie will be at graveside where she will be buried with her first husband of 41 years, Alvin J. Campbell, Sr.. Interment will be at Sunset Memorial Park, 924 Menaul Blvd., NE, Albuquerque, NM at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, March 27, 2010. Pastor Kevin Warner of the Del Norte Baptist Church will officiate.
