JAMES -- Buford M. James, 84, beloved husband, daddy, and grandpa, passed away peacefully in his home Sunday, March 14, 2010. Mr. James is survived by his wife of 60 years, Betty; son, Michael and his wife Teresa; daughter, Susan; grandchildren, Beau, Hannah, and her husband Bryan, McKenzie, Madison; great-grandson, Thomas; numerous nieces and nephews. He was born in Wheeler, TX on August 3, 1925, the youngest and last surviving of eight children of William and Mary Jane James. He graduated from Forrest High School and in 1949, married his wife Betty, and moved to Albuquerque. Mr. James retired from Mountain Bell Telephone Co. in 1984 after 37 years of service. He was a member and usher of Hoffmantown Church for 15 years. Our Family wishes to express our deep appreciation for the loving care of Clare and Clay of Heritage Hospice, and to Dr. Mazer, and Judy at the Heart Institute. Services for Mr. James will be held on Friday, March 19, 2010, at 10:00 a.m. at French ~ Wyoming Chapel, 7121 Wyoming Blvd. NE, with the Rev. Ken Moore officiating.
