FRANZ -- Mary Louise Franz was born on December 26, 1967, in Decatur, Alabama, and went home to be with our Lord unexpectedly on Sunday, January 17, 2010. Mary was preceded in death by her parents, John Bernard Franz Jr. and Dorothy Bowers Franz; and her brothers, Jay Franz, Ricky Franz and Randy Franz. Mary is survived in life by her son, Jeremy Franz; her brothers, Steve Franz, Bruce Franz and his wife Jaynee, Paul Franz and his wife Ferne, and Mark Franz and his wife Lisa; her sisters, Tricia Deimer and her husband Albert, Dorothy Begquist, Ellen Hibray, Judy Franz, Lisa Hayes and Lori Branigan and her husband Will; and also many nieces, nephews and other loved ones. Mary was very loving and caring, and she loved to laugh. She would light up a room with her beautiful smile. A memorial service will be held at Glory Christian Fellowship, 2421 Wyoming Blvd. N.E., on Saturday, February 6, 2010, at 1:00 p.m. There will be a reception immediately following the service. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to the American Diabetes Association.
