GARCIA -- Marcelino Madril "Moose" Garcia, born June 23, 1929 passed peacefully surrounded by his loved ones on January 29, 2010. He is survived by his wife of 61 years, Helen Zamora Garcia and his children, Judy Jiron and husband Bob, Leonard Garcia and wife Lala, Vicki Garcia, Dan Garcia and wife Jennifer; grandchildren Krishna, Michelle, Josh, Christina, Matthew, Danielle, Aidan and Miranda; great-grandchildren Jacob and Jenika. Marci was preceded in death by his parents Antonio and Fermina Garcia, siblings Melina Chavez, Emilia Chavez and Pricilla Gabaldon. Marci was born in Belen, New Mexico. He lived and raised his family in Albuquerque where he worked at Kirtland AFB as a high voltage Electrician. After 25 yrs of service at the base he and Helen retired and moved to Elephant Butte, in 1989. Rosary will be held on Tuesday, February 2, 2010 at 7:00 p.m. at Our Lady of Perpetual Help In T or C New Mexico. A memorial mass will be held at Our Lady of Perpetual Help Wednesday, February 3, 2010 at 9:00 a.m., reception to follow at the parish hall. Interment to be held at 2:00 p.m. at Our Lady of Belen Church in Belen New Mexico. In lieu of flowers make donations to Our Lady of Perpetual Help in T or C New Mexico or the American Cancer Society.
