POHL -- Kathy Pohl, 56, a native to Albuquerque, died January 16, 2010 in her home due to complications related to hypertension. She is survived by her son, Eric Beal; her brothers, Glen, Don and Bob; and her father, Roland Veretto; and numerous nieces, nephews, family and friends. "Kak" always had a smile, an angel, her dogs and a camera around her. She was a bright spirit and a treasure to know. Her sense of humor and spunkiness, despite life's circumstances are a lesson to us all and a joy to behold. Kathy has joined her mom and sister in heaven and will be greatly missed by all her friends and family left behind. A visitation and viewing will be held Friday, January 22, from 4:00 p.m. - 8:00 p.m. and the funeral service will be held Saturday, January 23, 2010 at 11:00 a.m. Both will be held at Riverside Funeral home located at 225 San Mateo Blvd. NE.
