JIRON -- Cai M. Jiron. We have so much to be thankful for! On behalf of Chris, Brandy, Ayla, Hailey, Nelo and Ravyn, Irene and I want to express gratitude and appreciation for the generous outpouring of love demonstrated to our family during this most difficult time. There are so many people to thank. Firstly, we are thankful to Fr. Joel, our loving pastor for his prayers and loving concern for our needs and his spiritual guidance. We are thankful for our loving parish family, Our Lady of the Most Holy Rosary Catholic Community, who demonstrated their love by tending to our needs and their expressions of condolences. We are blessed to belong to a fine community of love. We want to thank our extended family and friends who rushed to comfort us and brought food. We want to thank our co-workers and employers who have demonstrated their loving concern and support. We want to thank the police, fire fighters, the paramedics and Deacon Donald Bruckner who came to the scene to tend to the safety, medical and spiritual needs of our family. We want to thank everyone who has expressed their love and sympathy by calling, sending cards and emails from all over the country, flowers, and monetary gifts, bringing food to the house and to the church. You have touched our hearts and blessed us beyond measure. We want to thank our dear friends in music ministry who graciously and lovingly gave of their talent and time to bless us with music and singing for this liturgy: to Barbara Guenther for helping Irene and me plan the liturgy and for co-ordinating the musicians and choirs, to Mark Brasington for playing the organ, Leslie Gruer for singing solos, to everyone who gave from their hearts for today's music. In particular, Irene and I want to thank Chris' employer Gerald Martin General Contractor, and employees for their generosity. Their many gifts have been immeasurable and beyond compare. Our son is blessed to work with such great people. We thank the many subcontractors and associated businesses who expressed their love and support.Irene and I want to thank Gabaldon Mortuary for their most tender support, especially Dorothy Gabaldon for working with us and for her generosity. We want to thank Rick Gabaldon, Diana Gabaldon, and Camille Gabaldon, David Sanchez and staff for tending to all the specificities of the arrangements. On the lighter side, Irene and I want to thank the Lord for our pet dogs. Mocha was in the accident with Brandy and the children and immediately lent comfort to them. These last several mornings when Irene and I would be having our coffee, we would find ourselves crying. Queenie, our dog, would run downstairs, lift her front paws to reach up to us and give us slobbery kisses to comfort us, thank you Lord for these dear creatures. Lord Jesus we thank you for your tender mercies and unfailing love. Thank you, everyone, for your prayers. We love you and God bless all of you!
