HENSLEY -- Sybil Graham Hensley, 96, died December 9, 2009. She is survived by her son Bill Hensley and wife Sandra; grandsons, Heydon, Clayton and wife Jennifer; and granddaughter Mattie and many other family and family friends. Mrs Hensley was preceded in death by her parents Duncan and Mattie Graham; brother Bruce Graham; and her husband Heydon. Sybil was born in Texas, lived briefly in Missouri as a child and met and married her husband in Spearman, TX. She graduated from Texas Tech University with a Bachelor of Education and was a teacher before her marriage to Heydon and during the Great Depression. They moved to Texhoma in the 50's where they were active in the Methodist Church and where she played the piano. Mrs Hensley enjoyed playing bridge with her friends and husband, was a meticulous gardner and was a terrific cook. Memorial contributions may be made to the Texhoma United Methodist Church, 300 W. Main Street, Texhoma, OK A graveside service will be held at the McLean Cemetery in McLean , TX on Saturday, January 9, 2009 at 1:00 p.m. Friends may visit Wednesday, December 16, 2009 from 4:00-6:00 p.m. at French Mortuary, Lomas Chapel, 10500 Lomas Blvd. NE.
