YGUADO -- Angelica Zentner Yguado (known by friends and family as Nika) went to be with the Lord on Tuesday, November 10, 2009 at the age of 40. She is survived by her partner, Harvey Chaffee; stepson, Shawn; parents, Jose and Linda Yguado; brother, Joshua Yguado and wife, Sharon; sister, Deborah Burton and husband, Ronald; and three nephews, Elijah, Alex, and Simon. Nika was born and raised on a small farm in Los Lunas, New Mexico and in adulthood lived in Albuquerque. She attended Los Lunas High School and UNM. She was an accomplished watercolor painter and poet. She will be remembered most for her wonderful attitude toward life: she greeted each day with new possibilities and each person she met with respect and love.
