SERNA -- George Serna, 72, passed away and went to his heavenly home to reunite with his Lord and beloved wife, Mary Josephine. He was preceded in death by his parents, Demetrio and Frances Serna; and his brother, Toby Serna. He is survived by his four sons, Joseph Serna and wife, Debbie, Jesse Serna, Raymond Serna and wife, Bridget, and Martin Serna and wife, Gidget Young; sisters, Mary Gonzales and Angie Marcum; grandchildren, Brian, Sabrina, Mariah, Dominic, Jacob, Stephanie, Monica, Marcos, Justin, Isaac and Martin Jr. A Rosary will be prayed at St. Francis Church at 7:00 p.m. Thursday, November 12, 2009. The Funeral Mass will be held at Nativity of the Blessed Virgin Mary at 9:00 a.m. on Friday, November 13, 2009. Interment to take place at Mt. Calvary Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Dominic Gavi, Jacob Serna, Marcos Serna, Brian Guillen, Carlos Torrez and Justin Serna.
