LUJAN -- Rose Montoya Lujan, age 86, passed away on Sunday, November 8, 2009 in Albuquerque, NM. She was born to Noberto and Otelia in Pena Blanca, NM on November 11, 1922. Rose was a devoted wife, mother and grandmother who always put her family before her own needs. Her passions were cooking for the family and her specialty was a pot of beans and chile. Christmas was her favorite time of year the time to give and share love with her family and friends. Rose is survived by her loving and devoted husband, of 62 years, Alfonso Lujan; one daughter, Stephanie Lujan; and three sons, Al Lujan and wife, Kathy, Paul Lujan and Greg Lujan; five grandchildren, Melanie, Joseph, Kacee, Eric and Tiffany; three great-grandchildren; two sisters, Dolly Woody and Lavie Correa; and one brother, Carlos Montoya. Rose was preceded in death by her parents, brothers and sisters. A Celebration of Life Rosary will be held on Friday, November 13, 2009, 7:00 p.m., at French ~Wyoming Chapel.
