NICKERSON -- Opal Ellen Nickerson, 92, a resident of Algodones since 2003, resident of Albuquerque since 1955, died Monday, October 26, 2009. She is survived by her daughters, Cheryl Sanchez and husband, Andy, from Algodones and Rae Ellen Nickerson from Albuquerque; son, Charles Nickerson and wife, Tricia, from Mission Viejo, CA; grandchildren, Aaron, Shalom, Lucas, Cisco, Daniel, and Anna Sanchez, Christen Catlin, Mindy Nickerson, and Wade Thrasher; as well as 10 great-grandchildren, with 4 on the way. Services will be held Friday, October 30, 2009, 10:00 a.m., at Chester T. French Memorial Mausoleum, 924 Menaul Blvd. NE. with interment following at Sunset Memorial Park.
