ORTIZ -- Vicenta Ortiz, of Santa Fe, passed away October 18, 2009 in Santa Fe at age 99. She was preceded in death by her husband of 72 years Ciriaco in 2002. She was a loving and devoted wife, mother, grandmother and friend who has now joined Ciriaco and her beloved Savior. They had twelve children whom are all surviving: Stella and Carl Thorpe, Nick and Elvira Gonzalez, Priscilla Ortiz, Rita and Sam Tubb, Inez and Sal Lucero, Consuelo and Bernard Quintana, Gloria Griego, Johnny Ortiz, Rudy and Linda Ortiz, Beatrice and Tony Arden, David Ortiz and Ralph Ortiz. She is also survived by 18 grandchildren and one great-grandchild and also survived by three brothers: Jesus, George and Reuben, who all live in Trinidad, Co. The Funeral Service will be conducted on Wednesday, October 21, 2009 at 2:00 p.m. at the Santa Fe Funeral Options Chapel, 417 East Rodeo Road, Santa Fe.
