CONNOLLY -- Ann Marie Connolly, a teacher to many and a servant to all, was born in Queens, New York to Cornelius and Frances Hayes on October 25, 1938. She passed away October 19, 2009. She was a devoted mother of Lisa Allison, Coleen Samuelson and son-in-law David, Neil Alessio and daughter-in-law Lisa; and a loving grandmother to Erin Allison and Trey Buttlemann, Sean Allison and Phoebe Saltzstein, Hannah Samuelson, and Seamas Alessio. Ann was also a loyal sister of Denis, Rev. Neil, William, Patrick, and Gene. Ann regularly attended the Aquinas Newman Center and passionately shared her faith with those around her. The Mass of Resurrection will be celebrated at Aquinas Newman Center, 1815 Las Lomas Road NE, 1:00 p.m. on Saturday October 24, 2009, and there will be a Celebration of Life immediately following the mass at the church. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the St. Pius X High School Financial Aide Fund, Advancement Dept. 5301 St. Josephs Dr. NW, Albuquerque, NM 87120.
