LOPEZ -- Priscilla Montoya Lopez, a lifetime resident of Corrales, passed away on Thursday, September 10, 2009. Priscilla was the daughter of Thomas and Sinfirosa Montoya of Corrales, New Mexico. She was preceded in death by her husband Emilio "Papa" Lopez of 47 years. She is survived by her son Emilio Lopez III and his wife Dannette Garcia; granddaughter Mi Cielo; daughters Veronica and Renee Lopez; sister Sinnie Gurule; and brother Tomasito Montoya. She was a life time member of San Ysidro Catholic Church of Corrales. She is remembered for being a loving mother with strong family values, for a great sense of humor and the best tortilla maker. She was loved by all who knew her. The Rosary will be recited this evening, Wednesday, September 16, 2009 at 7:00 p.m. at San Ysidro Catholic Church in Corrales. Reciting the Rosary will be Charles Aguilar. The Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10:30 a.m. on Thursday, September 17, 2009 at San Ysidro Catholic Church. Pallbearers will be Carlos Gurule, Andre Sanchez, Joseph Lopez, Phil Froduge, and Junior Montoya and honoree pallbearer Joey.
