BAILEY -- Frank Bailey passed away on September 11, 2009. Frank was born on August 26, 1930 in St. Paul, Minnesota and graduated from New Mexico State University, School of Engineering. He served in the US Army Corp of Engineers. He worked as the Assistant City Water Engineer for the City of Albuquerque for 15 years, Public Service Company of New Mexico/City of Santa Fe for over 20 years. He was a Registered Professional Engineer and Land Surveyor, was active in his profession and community. Frank served as President of the Professional Engineer Society as well as President of the Kiwanis Club of Santa Fe. Frank is survived by his loving wife of 58 years, Rosie, and their five children: Linda and Dave Kinkaid, Carol and Kerwin Hollowwa, Mary Barnhart, Laura and Kent Sauvageau, Joe Bailey and fiance Sandy. He was the proud grandfather of 15 grandchildren: John Ryan, Tricia, our angel Chris, Sean and Jackie, Connor, Marissa, Matthew, Meghan, Michael, Thomas, Sarah and Matthew, Anna, Joseph, Kristie and Ryan and three great-grandchildren: Will Tyler, Annie, and Benjamin. Frank's dear sister, Mary Robinson, and her four children and their spouses, Garrett, Gregg, Frances and Patrick, He is also survived by Cousin Carol and Jim Rogers and their four children: Mike, Dennis, Patrick and Karen. Frank will be greatly missed by all whose lives he touched. There will be a rosary recited at the Cathedral Basilica of St. Francis of Assisi on Thursday, September 17, 2009 at 7:00 p.m. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Friday, September 18, 2009 at 10:00 a.m. also at the Cathedral Basilica of St. Francis of Assisi Internment will follow at the National Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to the New Mexico State University, Department of Engineering Alumni Scholarship Fund.
