MINTER -- Christine R. Minter, age 85, passed away on Tuesday, September 1, 2009. She is survived by two daughters, Ladozia Minter Askew, Coreaetta Minter Hancock both of Albuquerque; five grandchildren, Rosel (Tony) Minter and wife Keri, Aaron (Bucky), Dixon and wife Kerry, Ian (Duffy) Minter, Stanis Askew-Gonzales and husband Michael, Rozel (RV) Minter and wife Melissa; and daughter-in-law Elizabeth Minte; and five great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband, Rosel; father; mother; and sons Rosel Winthrop and John Worth Minter. Christine moved to Albuquerque in 1957 with her family. She spent many years in the field of interior decoration, before retiring from APS. A Visitation will be held on Friday, September 4, 2009 from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. at Daniels Family Funeral Services Palm Chapel 1100 Coal Ave. SE. A Funeral Service will be held on Saturday, September 5, 2009 at 11:00 a.m. at Mt. Olive Baptist Church, 2401 University Blvd. Interment in Wetumka Oklahoma.
