VALDEZ -- Anthony Valdez, 61, went home to be with his Lord on August 17, 2009. He was preceded in death by his step-father Desiderio Montano, brother Jerry Gutierrez, and sister Linda Valdez. He is survived by his father Valentin Valdez, mother Pauline Montano; wife Fatima Valdez; daughters Valerie Valdez and Alize Valdez; sisters Isabel Varela and husband Francisco and Mela Gonzales and husband Raymond; grandchildren Nichole Sandoval, Desiree Sandoval and Manuel Leyba; great grandchildren Silas ONeill and Nevaeh O'Neill. Funeral Services have taken place. Pallbearers were Raymond Armijo, Manuel Leyba, Leonard Gonzales, Ray Lucero, Larry Gutierrez and Richard Armijo. Honary pallbearers were Ruben Moya and Joey Lucero.
