CANDELARIA -- Monica Diana Candelaria, born in Albuquerque June 20, 1981 passed away February 2, 2009. Monica enjoyed laughing, joking, taking care of babies, and spending time with her family. She will be remembered as a loving daughter, mother, granddaughter, niece, cousin and friend who will be truly missed. Monica was preceded in death by her father, Gabriel Candelaria and her daughter, Reina Candelaria. Monica is survived by her mother, Isabel Candelaria; one son, Michael Candelaria; her brother, Gabriel Candelaria Jr.; grandparents, Dolores and Mike Mirabal, Diana Flores and Eddie Candelaria; godparents, Victor Candelaria and Diana Candelaria; as well as many aunts, uncles, nieces, cousins, and friends who loved her and will miss her greatly. Services will be held at New Beginnings Church, 3601 Montgomery Blvd. NE. at Carlisle, on Saturday, August 8, 2009 at 10:00 a.m., with Pastor Richard Mansfield officiatiing. Pallbearers will be Julian R., Toby R., Ruben M., Frankie R., Anthony R., Matthew G. and Matthew R. Honorary pallbearers will be her uncles, Michael and Victor.
