TAPIA -- Louisa E. Tapia, 79, passed away April 17, 2009. She was born in Puerto de Luna to the home of Florentino and Rufina Nieto. She was preceded in death by three infant children; her parents; brother Evanisto Nieto; and sister Mary Duran. She is survived by husband Juan D. Tapia, two daughters Gloria (Becky) Pearcy and husband Art Sr, Rosemarie Romero and husband Tito. Grandchildren John W. Pearcy and wife Jackie, Art Pearcy Jr and wife Tanya, Francisco Romero and Christina Baca, Johnny Romero, Victoria Romero and Floyd Gonzales; 11 great-grandchildren. Sister Ida Madril, Rose Sullivan and husband Tom, Leo Nieto and wife Jan and brother in law Eloy Duran; also many nieces and nephews. Pallbearers are John W. and Art Pearcy Jr., Francisco and Johnny Romero, Joseph Pearcy and Floyd Gonzales. Honorary pallbearers are all of her greatgrandchildren. Rosary will be Sunday April 19, 2009 at 7:00 p.m., at the Wyoming Chapel. Mass will be held at Risen Savior Community Church Monday, April 20, 2009 at 10:00 a.m. Burial to follow at St. Helen Cemetery, Pastura NM.
