HOUSE -- Gretchen Lemm House died at home the morning of Tuesday, March 17, 2009, embraced in love and light by her daughter, Elizabeth, her son, Chris; and her beloved cats and goat (Jar Jar) in Jarales, NM where she lived. A tenacious and unbeatable Scrabble and Trivial Pursuit competitor, she was a woman of grand intellect, a great heart, wit, and sense of humor. Her spirit lives on through those she loved, those who loved her and all her creatures, great and small. She has a large and loving family including Jim House; her daughter, Elizabeth, and husband, Martin Montoya; grandson, David; son, Chris House and wife, Dara; and her life-long friend, Barbara West. Her Memorial Gathering is scheduled for Saturday, April 11, 2009 from 11:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. at 1808 Valdez NE in Albuquerque.
