NOICE -- Lenard Eugene. Thank you from the family of Lenard "Lenny" Eugene Noice. Perhaps you brought or served food. Perhaps you sent a lovely card or sat quietly in a chair. Perhaps you sent a floral piece, if so, we saw it there. Perhaps you spoke the kindest word as any friend could say. Perhaps you shared a story how Lenny had touched your lives personally. Perhaps you attended the service or the viewing, your presence comforted us. Perhaps you were not able to come but you were there in spirit praying for us that day. Perhaps you were on the train thinking about Lenny and praying for his family. Whatever part the Lord had you play to console our hearts, thank you so much and may He bless each and every one of you. What is comforting to us is knowing that Lenny was so loved; the better you knew him the more you loved him. He possessed great personal charm; people were drawn to him irresistibly. Lenny now rests in peace, but his noble and resplendent spirit remains to comfort us. He is deep in our hearts and will live on warmly for eternity. His sterling qualities and his great legacy will continue for as long as there is life within us. Despite Lenny's active life in the railroad and numerous demands upon his time, he was first and foremost a family man. He loved to be with his family and extended family. He was a devoted husband to me. He was an affectionate father to his son. The character of the life Lenny lived might be summed up in a few words: he was generous, he was self-sacrificing, and he had a servant's heart. Matthew 23:11 says, "The more lowly your service to others, the greater you are. To be the greatest, be a servant." We know God is well pleased with His good and faithful servant.
