CORDOVA -- Filias (Phyllis) Cordova, 83, a resident of Albuquerque passed away on February 1, 2009. Mrs. Cordova is survived by her loving husband of 61 years, Mr. Wilfrido Cordova; her children, Theresa Cardenas and husband, Trini, Willie Cordova Jr. and wife, Barbara, Lorraine Torrez and Carol Perea de Leon and husband, Mr. de Leon; four sisters, Doris Alderette, Betty Parra and husband, Charlie, Connie Chavez and husband, Joe, and Dorothy Blea and husband, Victor; three brothers, Henry Armijo, Jim Armijo and wife, Griselda, and Joe Armijo; sister-in-law, Esther Armijo; six grandchildren, Antoinette, Jeffrey, Joseph, Annette, Angel and Jacob; ten great-grandchildren; and many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. Mrs. Cordova was preceded in death by her grandson, Maurice Cardenas. Mrs. Cordova was a member of St. Anne Catholic Church, and a member of the American Legion Post 13. Visitation will be Thursday, February 5, 2009 from 8:00 a.m. until 8:30 a.m. at St. Anne Catholic Church, 1400 Arenal Rd. SW, with a Rosary to be recited at 8:30 a.m. by Sister Mary Ann Berrett. Mass of Christian Burial will follow at 9:00 a.m. at the Church, Father John Tourangeau, presider. Interment will follow at San Jose de Armijo Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Jeffrey Cordova, Jacob Cardenas, Todd Johnson, Ozz Snoddy, Rudy Rael and Anthony Blea. Honorary pallbearers will be Jim Armijo Jr., Jerry Rael and Joseph and Torrez.
