KIRSCHMAN -- Joshua, 29, went home to be with Jesus on Friday, 30 January 2009. He is survived by his father, John; his mommy, Tammy; his big bro, Jonathan; younger brother, Jeremiah; little sister, Melody; and niece, Courtney. He was preceded in death by his Grandpa Phillips and will be missed by his Grandma Phillips; Grandpa and Grandma Kirschman; Great Grandma Briggs; and everyone who knew him whose life he touched. Joshua was involved in the first seasons of the Albuquerque Challenger Little League, was the New Mexico MDA Poster Child for 2 years, and volunteered at Desert Ridge MS for 11 years, tutoring and being an example of how to make the most of your life, no matter how bad things may be. Although he found out he was terminally ill at 3 years old, he kept a positive attitude, a great sense of humor, and a strong belief in Jesus that affected everyone who met him. One his last words were "I'm going home". Thank you God for 20 extra years of wonderful memories than what the doctors had told us he would have. A celebration of his life for everyone who knew him will be held in the Marriot Hotel, 2101 Louisiana Blvd near I-40, on Tuesday, 3 February 2009, at 6 pm. There will be time for everyone to tell their most memorable and funny stories of Joshua. In lieu of flowers, please sent donations, in Joshua's name, to Casa Esperanza 1005 Yale NE 87106, 505-277-9880.
