CATER -- Lucy F. Cater, 102 1/2, born July 16, 1906 in Wagon Mound, NM died peacefully in her sleep in Albuquerque, on January 26, 2009. She was a resident of Albuquerque for the last four years, formerly of Taos, NM. She was preceded in death by her parents, Marcelino and Adelida (Varos) Fernandez, 11 brothers and sisters, Aggie Barerra (Roque) Salida, Co and Phoebe Vigil (Obed) Taos, NM; her beloved grandson, Keith Veo and daughter-in-law, Sheila Veo. She is survived by her son, George M. Veo of Rolla, MO and grandson, George L. Veo and wife, Parrie, also of Rolla; granddaughter, Darlene Veo Lundy, of Oklahoma; many grandchildren, great-grandchildren and many loving nieces, nephews, cousins and her companion and health caregiver, Louella Costanza. Memorial Services will be private and held at a later date with interment to follow at Sierra Vista Cemetery in Taos, NM; Pastor Ed Costanza, Church of God NM, officiating.
