MASIERO -- Peter Joseph Masiero, 90, died peacefully December 28, 2008 at his home. Born in Newark, New Jersey, he was the youngest of seven children. Employed by the Prudential Insurance Company for 32 years as a baker, Pete liked to tell stories of the 300 eclairs he would bake. Traveling with his "sweetheart" Phyllis, Peter retired to New Mexico in 1980. He loved to garden, travel to Italy, watch the Chicago Cubbies and usher at St. Bernadette's Church. A hard worker, a good man, and giving to his family, we thank him for being a devoted husband, father, brother, grandfather, and friend.
