ANSTETT -- Janet R. Anstett, born August 6, 1945 passed peacefully at 4:58 a.m. on December 26, 2008 succumbing to cancer. A loving and devoted wife, mother and grandmother Janet dedicated her life to helping the sick find comfort and peace through her unyielding compassion and service as a nurse and manager for Hospice. Janet was preceded in death by her father Donald; mother Priscilla and adoptive father Thomas. Janet is survived by her devoted husband John; her children Tom, Ron, and Karen; grandchildren, Tayler, Pei, Lyling, Madeline, Nolan, and Josephine. Janet is also survived by her siblings Susan, Tom, Diana, Doug, Ellie, and Tracy; three stepchildren; several additional grandchildren through marriage, as well as numerous aunts, uncles and cousins, also survive Janet. The family thanks Heartland Hospice for the love, compassion and support they provided Janet both in her life and her passing. A Mass and Memorial for Janet will be held on Saturday, January 24, 2009 at 1:00 p.m., at St. Mark's on the Mesa Episcopal Church, located at: 431 Richmond Place NE, Albuquerque, NM 87106.
