GARCIA -- Maxine S. Garcia, 64, a resident of Albuquerque passed away on December 29, 2008. Mrs. Garcia is survived by her loving husband of 39 years Mr. John G. Garcia; her children Lupe Velasco and husband, Cesar, and Emilia Garcia; her sister Gloria Zamora; her brother, Rudy Suarez; grandchildren, Nathan Garcia, Lanette Garcia, and Anna Velasco; and many aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. Mrs. Garcia was preceded in death by her parents, Lucio and Lupe Suarez; her son, John Garcia; sister, Margaret Baca; and brother, Julian Suarez. Visitation will be Friday, January 2, 2009 from 6:30 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. at Gabaldon Memorial Chapel, 1000 Old Coors Dr. SW, with a Rosary to be recited at 7:00 p.m. by Dorothy and Lorraine. Final visitation will be Saturday, January 3, 2009 from 8:30 a.m. until 9:00 a.m. at Holy Family Catholic Church, with Mass of Christian Burial to be celebrated at 9:00 a.m., Franciscan Friar, presider.
