ELSTON -- Betty Stephens Elston, 84, passed away on December 2, 2008. Betty was born in Shawnee, Oklahoma. She was a homemaker, and artist and worked in the ministry. She was preceded in death by her husband Jack. Survivors include her sister Billie Higgins of Oklahoma City, OK; daughters Vicki Lynn Whitby of Albuquerque, and Linda Beth Patterson from Azle, Texas; granddaughters, their husbands and children: Kathryn Suzanne Whitby Hinkle and Tracy and sons, Josh, Jacob, and Jesse; Theresa Lynne Patterson Boydston and Kip and children, Zoe and Zachary; Sandra Kaye Patterson Boyd and sons Caedmon and Malachi; Carolyn Marie Patterson Barentine and husband Jeff, and children Nathaniel, Benjamin and Jenaya. The memorial service is scheduled for Saturday, December 6, 2008 at 10:00 a.m. at the Believer's Center of Albuquerque.
