GONZALES -- Gilberto Gonzales, beloved son, father, companion and friend, passed away Monday, November 17, 2008. Gilberto was a happy-go-lucky person who enjoyed life to the fullest. He is survived by his father, Ruben Gonzales; mother, Christina Gonzales; wife, Estella Gallegos; daughters, Alyssa and Kina Gonzales; brothers, Fabian Gonzales and wife, Becky, and Elias Gonzales; grandmother, Estella V. Gallegos; Godfather, Ramon Gonzales; Godmother, Julia Gallegos; nieces, Jaeann, Natalie and Analiese Gonzales; nephew Ernesto Gallegos; Godson, Jesus Gallegos; as well as many aunts, uncles, cousins and numerous friends. Visitation for Gilberto will be held on Thursday, November 20, 2008 from 3:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. with a Rosary to be recited on Thursday evening at 7:00 p.m. at Salazar & Sons Mortuary. Funeral Services will be held on Friday, November 21, 2008 at Holy Family Catholic Church where the Mass will be celebrated at 11:00 a.m. Burial will follow at Mt. Calvary Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Ramon Gonzales, Ruben Gonzales, Elias Gonzales, Fabian Gonzales, Jose Luis Garcia and Ernesto Gallegos. Honorary pallbearers will be friends and family.
