ESPINOZA -- Frank R. "Pancho" Espinoza, native of Guadalupe, Colorado passed away Monday, November 17, 2008 at his home in Albuquerque, New Mexico. Frank was the son of Abel L. Espinoza and Margaret T. Trujillo. He was born in Conejos, Colorado on August 7, 1947. He attended school in Conejos and Antonito. He served with the 504TH Infantry Division in the United States Army, serving in Italy. In addition to his military service, he served with the National Guard as a medical specialist for 10-12 years in Colorado and New Mexico. Frank Pancho was a welder by profession. His work took him throughout New Mexico and Texas. He is survived by his wife, Gloria; sons, Michael, Raymond, and Albert Espinoza, of the family home; other children, Anthony Espinoza (Virginia), Stephanie Ruybal of Albuquerque, NM, and Gina Martinez of Colorado Springs, CO; grandchildren, Samantha and Nick Martinez of Antonito, CO; brothers, Nicholas of Denver, CO; Ruben (Sigelenida) Colorado Springs, CO, Albert (Marcella) of Surprise, AZ, Dominic of Antonito, CO, Paul of Alamosa, CO, Anthony of Track City, CO; sisters, Loyola De Herrera of Albuquerque, NM, Jane Northrip of Antonito, CO, Julie (John) Montano of Albuquerque, NM, Loretta (Orlando) Gallegos of Guadalupe, CO; as well as a very special friend to his children, Jaime Santos and his special sister-in-law, Olga Rodriquiz-Mendoza; as well as many uncles, aunts, nieces, nephews, cousins, and other friends who loved him and will miss him. Frank "Pancho" is preceded in death by his parents, Abel and Margaret Espinoza; his brother, Abe Jr.; two sisters, Lucille and Lorraine; and two nephews, Duwayne and Rodney Northrip. Interment Service will take place at the National Cemetery in Santa Fe, New Mexico on Friday, November 21, 2008 at 10:00 a.m. with US Army Honors. Cremation has taken place.
