LUNA -- Max Robert Luna, age 73, a resident of Albuquerque, NM beloved father, grandfather, and brother entered through heaven's gates and joined our Lord and Savior on Tuesday, October 28, 2008. He was born in Los Lunas, NM to Juan Luna and Anita Maria Mireles. Max served four years in the Army National Guard of New Mexico. He was a member of IBEW Local 611 and the NBEW. Max retired from Los Alamos National Labs in 1997 before returning to Albuquerque to be near his beloved daughters. He was preceded in death by his brother, John and sister, Mabel. Max is survived by his two daughters, Sharon Harty and Sheryl Lucero both of Albuquerque; grandchildren, Ryan, Kristin and Tyler; four sisters, Stella Otero, Lucy Salazar, Rosemarie Apodaca and Beatrice Marquez and brother, Albert Luna. He is also survived by 29 loving nieces and nephews. Cremation has taken place. All Services will be held at Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic Church, in Peralta, NM beginning with a visitation on Saturday, November 1, at 9:00 a.m. with a rosary to be recited at 9:30 a.m. and a Funeral Mass to be celebrated at 10:00 a.m. with Father Hoi Tran presiding.
