FLEMING -- David Fleming, 73, died Wednesday, September 24, 2008 after a long illness. He is survived by his loving wife of 45 years Dottie Fleming; his sister Janice Posey of Camden, SC; and nephew Marshall Posey of Chesterfield, VA. David was born in Charleston, WV and raised by loving parents Omer and Helene Fleming. At age 15, he survived polio and went on to attend West Virginia University and Rutgers University. He was a 17 year resident of Albuquerque, NM, where he recently retired from Qwest Corporation. David came from Florida to the southwest in 1966 where he was employed with the Albert Mathias Company for 24 years. He first worked in the sales department in Albuquerque and then in El Paso, TX as Operations Manager for 23 years. The Fleming Family wishes to thank the staff of the Kaseman Hospice Unit for providing such kind and wonderful care. No Services will be held and Cremation has taken place.
