MYERS -- Kenneth L. Myers November 18, 1953 to September 16, 2008 Kenny L. Myers, age 54, was born in Mechanicsburg, PA on November 18, 1953 and passed away on September 16, 2008. He was raised and lived in the North Valley, and was known for his jolly and giving personality, boyish charm, and warm smile; and the ability to build a race motor. Kenny left a legacy of living and loving life to the fullest. He was adored by family and friends and respected and admired by racers. Kenny was involved in the racing community since childhood. He was affiliated with many racing teams in the Albuquerque area and had recently served as the Race Director for Sandia Motor Speedway. A special memorial race in Kenny's honor will be held at the Sandia Motor Speedway on September 27, 2008. His first passion was his family which includes his wife Jeanette of 31 years who he loved and cherished; father Richard of Shiremanstown, PA; his mother Catherine (who predeceased Kenny); son Adam and wife Delilah, son Robert; daughter Stephanie and David; brother Glen and wife Amee; sisters Cathy Ellis and Tami Foshee and husband Pat. Eight grandchildren include Mariah, Adam, Angel, Ariel, Samantha, Emma, Mazen, and Jayden. Kenny will be missed by his family, friends and many motors. His favorite sayings were "If You Are Not Going Fast You're Not Going" or "Let's Go Racing". A memorial in his honor will be held on Sunday, September 21, 2008, at 3:00 p.m. at Tabernacle of Praise, 6013 Paradise Blvd NW, 87114. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Ken Myers Memorial Contribution Fund at any Bank of Albuquerque Location. "LET'S GO RACING!!"
