MARQUEZ -- Elizabeth C. Marquez, age 86, our beloved and devoted mama and grandma, was called home by the Lord on Thursday, September 11, 2008. She was a devoted mama and grandma who took every opportunity to love us all. Elizabeth was preceded in death by her parents, Adan and Portana Chavez; her husband, Henry Marquez; sister, Tomasita and brother, Anastacio. She will be lovingly remembered by her daughters, Yvonne E. Maestas and husband James, Yolanda Cline and husband Michael; son, Robert and wife Emily. Elizabeth is also lovingly remembered by her grandchildren, Aurelio, Amber, Noelle, Devin, Elijah, Kristy and Brandy; great grandchildren, Alyssa, Austin, Samantha, Ryland and Sophia; sister, Audela Fernandez, as well as many nieces, nephews, other family members and friends who loved and will miss her. A Memorial Service will be held at Gate of Heaven Cemetery Chapel, at the corner of Paseo del Norte and Wyoming NE, on Monday, September 15, 2008 at 10:00 a.m., with interment immediately following. The family would like to give their thanks to Dr. Dorf and all of the staff in the ICU of Lovelace Women's Hospital for their thoughtfulness, care and concern of our beloved mother.
