LOVATO -- Bernadette Lovato, 49, a resident of Belen, NM, passed away on September 6, 2008 and is now peacefully in the arms of her Lord. Bernadette is survived by her parents, Louis and Eliza Lovato; sister, Maria M. Lovato (Maggie); brothers, Richard Lovato and wife, Susan, Michael Lovato, Paul Lovato and Lisa, and Art Lovato; Godparents, Minder and Theresa Valdez; and many aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends. Bernadette worked at Adelante Development Center for many years. Visitation will be Friday, September 12, 2008 from 6:30 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. at Gabaldon Memorial Chapel, 1000 Old Coors Dr. SW, with a Rosary to be recited at 7:00 p.m. by Gene Lovato. Final visitation will be Saturday, September 13, 2008 from 9:30 a.m. until 10:00 a.m. at Tower Baptist Church, 601 86th Street SW, with a Funeral Service to be held at 10:00 a.m., Steve Covington, presider. Interment to follow at Mount Calvary Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Richard Lovato II, Paul Joseph Lovato, Paul Lovato, Daniel Lovato, Art Lovato and Joseph Gordon. Honorary pallbearers will be her caregivers who have taken care of her over the years. The family requests that in lieu of flowers that donations be made in memory of Bernadette Lovato to Adelante Development Center, 3900 Osuna Rd NE, Alb, NM 87109.
